Description

Peartree Cottage is a late 16th or early 17th century timber-framed building. The timber frame is faced with whitewashed roughcast, and the roof is covered with old tiles. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and features two windows with flush casements and glazing bars. A wooden cornice sits above the entrance door. Inside, portions of the original timber framework are exposed, including stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
