Description

This barn, located about 60 meters northwest of Battlers Green Farm House, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It features a timber frame built on a brick base and is covered with weatherboarding and tiled roofs. The structure is aisled and consists of four bays, with double doors at the gable ends of the nave. Inside, the nave has curved queen struts that clasp renewed purlins, while the aisles showcase angled queen strut trusses alternating with collar trusses, re-used curved braces, and lightly jowled posts.
