Description
Caldecote is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys tall and has three windows, with a central entrance. The windows are glazing bar sashes, and there is a timber verandah with a slate roof on the ground floor, along with a glazed bay to the right. The house has a mutuled eaves cornice and a pediment with an oculus, and there is a flanking coped parapet. The left return has two bays, with French windows and a verandah on the ground floor. At the rear, there is a pediment similar to the front, which is interrupted by a 19th-century canted bay to the right. A central ridge stack is present. The interior has not been inspected.
