Description
Beacon Hill is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof, gable end parapets with kneelers, and end stacks. The building stands three storeys high and has a modillion eaves cornice at the front.
The façade consists of four bays; the ground and first floor windows are adorned with rusticated lintels that have large keyblocks and 12-pane sash windows, while the second floor windows are 6-pane sashes. All windows are fitted with stone sills. The central entrance features an open pediment, pilasters, a 6-panelled door, and a barred segmental fanlight. Flanking the entrance are two-storey, single-bay wings, each with a hipped roof and a 12-pane sash window on both floors. There is a 20th-century addition on the left side of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
