Description

Fold Farm House is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and an extension added in the 19th century. The structure features a timber frame that has been refronted in brick, topped with a tiled roof, primarily made of machine tiles, while the rear is covered in slates. The building is L-shaped with a lobby entrance and has two storeys plus an attic.

The front of the main range includes a central entrance with a porch, and the windows are casements set in altered openings, with tall windows on the first floor and broad windows with cambered heads on the ground floor. A gabled wing projects forward to the left, and there is a central stack located at the rear of the ridge, along with a gable end stack on the wing. The right side of the house features an attic window, and there is a catslide roof over the rear extension. The left side wall is partially weatherboarded, and there is a 19th-century yellow brick extension at the rear left. The ridge of the house runs parallel to the wing, which includes a secondary entrance and cambered window heads made of rubbed red brick. The interior showcases stop-chamfered beams in the main range on both floors, with corner wall posts visible on the first floor. Additionally, there is a homestead moat to the southeast.
