Description

Hare and Son Solicitors is a house, later used as offices, likely dating from the 17th century, with a brick front added in the early 19th century. The south side of the building is plastered and clad in weatherboarding, featuring a central brick chimneystack. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with old tiles, forming an L-shaped plan. The two-storey front has three windows, with 8/8 sash windows and, on the ground floor, gauged brick lintels. A circa 1900 entrance door is located on the right-hand side, featuring pilasters and a moulded bracketed hood. A stucco band runs between the two floors.
