Description

Green Shutters is a cottage range from the 17th century, likely rewindowed in 1737, as indicated by the date painted between the two central windows. The building is plastered with irregular, exposed timber framing and features a weatherboarded plinth and a steep, old red tile roof. It has two storeys, with four first-floor, three-light, leaded casements in pegged wooden frames, and five various 19th-century ground floor leaded casements, with shutters on the end windows. There is a door towards the south with a rose pattern iron knocker, and the south gable end is weatherboarded.
