Description

The garden wall and entrance gateway to the west side of Much Hadham Hall were built around 1726-1729, mostly at the same time as the house. The structure features a red brick forecourt and garden wall, which includes a semi-elliptical, curved entrance that holds double wrought iron gates adorned with scrolled cresting and panels. Square piers topped with ball finials flank the entrance. The wall extends around the kitchen garden on the north side of the house and runs south parallel to the road.
