Description

A pair of 19th-century picturesque cottages, known as Lodge Farm Cottage and The Gables, are constructed with a lower storey of brickwork and an upper storey and roof finished in decorative tile hanging. The cottages are two storeys high with a single-storey extension to the east. They retain original metal windows, with small tiled canopies over the main front entrance doors. Two small dormers are present, along with a large first-floor projecting gable and central and gable chimney stacks. These cottages are excellent examples of Victorian country cottages of their period.
