TL 32 SE GREAT MUNDEN LEVENS GREEN (north side) 5/32 West Barn at Levens Green Farm - (15m to W of house)

GV II

Barn with shelter-shed attached at S end. C17 with C19 shelter shed. Timber frame dark weatherboarded on red brick sills. Steep pitched roof to barn, now corrugated iron. Slate roof to shed. A long narrow barn facing E enclosing courtyard with gabled porch on W. Shelter shed in line to S, with 4-bay open front on E. Barn has a side-purlin roof with one high-set purlin in each slope, and C19 windows with rounded corners, on N gable to lane.
