Description

The entrance gate, railings, and garden wall at North Leys date from around 1720 and are contemporary with the house. The structure features wrought iron railings and a double gate set over a half-height brick wall. The gates and railings are adorned with scrolled panels and cresting at intervals. The red brick wall includes flanking square piers topped with stone ball finials. There is a continuation of the wall on the northern boundary of the garden, built around 1824, which is taller and includes a square angle pier with a stone ball finial.
