Description
This is a 17th-century or earlier farmhouse with an attached granary. The farmhouse is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a weatherboarded plinth and a steep roof covered in old red tiles. It follows a three-unit plan with a cellar beneath the south end room. The interior features chamfered axial and cross beams, with hollow-stops in the middle room. The west-facing front of the house has three windows on two storeys, each with sash windows containing 4/8 panes of glass. The lower windows have small hoods above them. A boarded door is located in the north part of the building. Attached to the rear (south) side of the farmhouse by a roofed passage is a single-storey granary, built on brick piers. The granary is timber-framed, weatherboarded, and has a roof of old red tiles, with a boarded door on its south side.
