Description

The granary at Sawtrees Farm is an 18th-century building. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and stands on dressed limestone staddles. The granary has a steep hipped roof covered with old red tiles. It is a square, single-storey structure facing west, with four staddle stones on each side. The entrance includes a boarded door with a cat-hole and iron strap hinges. Inside, the walls are plastered, and there are corn bins along with a 3-bay clasped purlin roof. The granary is attached to a stable building that is not of special interest.
