Description
Little Bury is an 18th-century house located in Westmill village. The building features roughcast walls and old red tile roofs, with a dark weatherboarded apex on the east gable of the 20th-century south crosswing. It has a T-shaped layout, with the older north wing facing east and a large external gable chimney on the north side. There are two windows on each floor: three-light flush casement windows stacked above one another on the right and a single-light window above a two-light window on the left. The top row of each has small paned cast iron rectangular casements with pointed heads. The house was formerly thatched, but the thatched roof was burned in the 1970s. The higher crosswing features leaded casements. This building is included for its group value.
