Description
No. 8 Church Street is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It has been extensively altered and restored in the 1980s. The building features a timber frame with a plastered first floor and a stuccoed ground floor. It has an old tiled roof and a red brick chimney stack and chimney breast located at the left gable end. The house is two storeys high and has three flush sash windows with glazing bars. There is a modern reproduction panelled front door with a door hood. This property is included for its group value.
