Description
Pigs Nose is a house dating from the 17th century, with a matching 20th-century rear wing. It features a timber frame built on a black-painted plinth, showcasing exposed square framing. The rear wing and the eastern part have panelled pargetting above a dark weatherboarded apron. The house has steep thatched roofs, which are half-hipped to the west and north. It is a long, one-and-a-half storey house with a central chimney plan that steps down the slope to the west, facing south. There are four eyebrow dormers on the south side and two on the west side of the rear wing. The windows are casement style with small panes, and there is a rear lateral chimney on the western part. This house presents a picturesque appearance by the riverside.
