Description
This building, located south of No. 3 on Standon Mill End, is a house that has been divided into two separate residences. It dates back to the 17th century and was altered in the 18th century. The structure features a timber frame that is roughcast, topped with a steep old red tile roof. It stands two storeys tall and faces west, showcasing irregularly placed windows. The upper floor has two flush box sash windows with six-over-six panes, while a similar window is found on the ground floor to the right of the door leading to the southern house. To the left of this door, there is a 20th-century bow window for the northern house. The building has moulded door surrounds with flat hoods supported by shaped brackets. A central chimney serves the southern half of the northern house, and there is a projecting gable chimney on the southern gable. The rear roof pitch has been raised and is now slated to cover a rear extension.
