Description
The Mill Store, located abutting Station Road to the west of number 35, is a building from the 18th or 19th century. It features a timber-framed structure that is weatherboarded, resting on a high red brick base laid in English bond. The roof is tiled and gabled to the southwest. The adjacent bay has a lower base. There is an upper door in the gable, with access from the north through double plank doors leading to the lower part of the end bay, and another door to the east that enters the raised part. The southern side has a significantly altered brick malting that overlaps part of it. This building is an important traditional structure that contributes to the views along Station Road and is listed for its group value.
