Description
The granary at New Street Farm, located 55 meters south-southeast of the house, dates from the 18th century. It features a timber frame with dark weatherboarding and a slated pyramidal roof topped with a vane shaped like a horse. This square, two-storey granary stands on four dressed stone staddles. There is a central door on the west side, with a small sash window above it to provide light to the axial stair. The first floor has bins that are accessed by a steep internal stair. Small louvred openings are present on the upper floor sides. The weatherboarding has a rolled detail along its lower edges.
