Description
This is a wall located on the east side of the west court at Stanstead Bury, running south from the main building. It dates from the 16th or 17th century and was raised in the 18th century. The wall is constructed of red brick and features brick-on-edge coping. It stands approximately 2.5 meters high and is part of the outworks of the early brick house.
