Description
Pembridge Lane Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber frame set on a low white painted brick sill and is covered with dark weatherboarding. The steeply pitched roof is now finished with red pantiles. The house has a three-cell, one-and-a-half-storey layout with an internal chimney and a lobby entry. It is set back from the road and faces north.
There is an added external chimney on the west gable and low lean-to extensions at each end, along with a flat-roofed low rear extension. The north front has three three-light casement windows on the ground floor, with similar windows in each end extension, and three two-light swept dormer windows above. A large T-shaped chimney is located at the ridge, and there is a plank door beneath a gabled timber porch.
