Description
The Grotto at Peterscourt, located 25 meters to the east-southeast of the house, is an early 19th-century grotto-maze that incorporates a 18th-century red brick structure at its northwest corner. The grotto features brick-kiln wasters and stucco, and it is covered in ivy. It is open at the top and consists of a large maze with winding passages and chambers, which include pools and a central viewing mound. The entire structure is built of grotto-work and is enclosed by high brick walls. Notably, there is stonework from a mullioned window set in the wall near the gated entrance on the west side.
