Description

No. 81 Marlowes is an early 19th-century building featuring a stucco exterior and a hipped roof covered with Welsh slates, complete with an eaves cornice. The structure is two storeys high and has three sash windows on the first floor, each set within architrave surrounds. On the ground floor, there are two canted bay windows that have wooden balustrades leading to flat roofs. The central doorway previously had an impressive arched trellis porch, which has since been removed. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 75 to 85 (odd), which together form a cohesive architectural group.
