4 houses, now one house. C17 central part, mid C19 extension, alterations and sub-division. Timber framed centre cased in brickwork on ground floor and C19 half timbering to jettied 1st floor. Buff brick elsewhere with red brick floor band and relieving arches to ovolo brick mullioned windows. Steep old red tile roofs. Older part represented by 2nd of 4 cottages is a 2-bays 2-storeys jettied structure facing E with jowled posts and exposed curved brace and cambered tie beam of N end frame. Cross passage in 2nd bay and chamfered axial floor beam with bar stops. 2-storey extensions to N and S to give picturesque assymetrical S front with 2 gabled lucarnes with transoms to the upper windows.
