Description
Pouchen End is a building dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, marked on a 1648 map as Punchin End. It was remodelled in 1864, as indicated by the date on the chimneystack, and originally consisted of three timber-framed cottages. The exterior is stucco-faced in a Tudor style, featuring four gables, two foliated roundels, and mullioned casement windows. Some windows include transoms and have chamfered rusticated surrounds. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, and there are ornate wooden gabled porches. Inside, the building retains some early exposed ceiling beams.
