Description

The Old Cottage is a building dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century, located on the north side of London Road in Bourne End. It is constructed of red brick and has a whitewashed exterior, topped with an old tiled roof featuring two restored end chimneystacks and two diagonal shafts on the left side. The cottage is two storeys high and has two flush three-light wood casement windows with glazing bars. There are modern additions to the north and west of the building.
