Description

The Cottage is a late 17th century or early 18th century house located on the north side of London Road in Bourne End. It features colour washed plaster and an old tiled roof with an eaves cornice and a plain central stack. The building has two storeys and attics, with the front of the first floor refaced with wooden tile hanging. There are three casement windows and a six-fielded panelled door set within a surround of pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The east side gable includes an attic lattice casement window.
