Description

TRING AKEMAN STREET SP 9211 (West side) 11/40 No. 81 - GV II House, now offices. C18 or earlier with early C19 front and rear extension. Stucco front and plastered ends. Steep pitched roof now slated. A 2-storeys, 6 windows long house on pavement facing E, with shallower parallel rear range to S half and hipped 2-storeys rear part at N half. Front has moulded surrounds and bracketed sills to windows, black painted plinth and parapet at eaves. Margin-light recessed sash windows on ground floor but 3/3 panes on 1st floor. Small moulded flat hood on shaped stucco brackets. Off-centre panelled door with 3-centred curved head to panel. Clasped-purlin roof structure and capped off N end chimney.
