Description
This is a mid-19th century block of three houses located on the High Street. The houses are constructed with uncoursed knapped flint facing, accented with yellow brick bands, and rustic stone impost blocks defining three arched openings. The rear wall is similarly built but utilizes unknapped flint and brick bands at the ends. The roof is slate with box eaves.
The building presents an asymmetrical facade facing west, featuring four windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor. The windows are recessed sash windows with 8/8 panes, each set under a flat, gauged arch. The doorways are round-arched, with the doorway for number 63 situated at the northern corner. The doors for numbers 65 and 67 are grouped around a similar opening, leading to a tunnel passage at the rear. The door to number 65 is half-glazed with four panels, featuring a reeded transom and a semi-circular fanlight.
The internal layout is double-pile, with shared chimneys in the left-hand portion and chimneys on the south gable. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
