Low cob wall to front (west) elevation, flanked by double entries; blocked pitching door to left (north) gable end. Interior: split oak rafters to 7-bay clasped purlin roof, partly rebuilt but retaining 3 queen-post and queen-strut trusses. Floor is sunk about 60 cm below ground level.
