Description
The Cedar Park Outbuildings, located southeast of The Cedars Lodge, are early 17th century structures, likely built by the Office of Works for James I. They are adjacent to a garden wall on the east and a tall 17th-century building on the northwest. The outbuildings are constructed of red brick with stone dressings and feature a machine tile roof. They are two storeys high, with the lower storey set slightly forward and displaying an angled and battered brick band. The west gable end is brick-coped and includes a large external chimney stack, a plinth with moulded stone coping, and stone quoin blocks. On the south elevation, there is an inset plaque dated 1621, which was taken from the Deer Park Wall at Albury, alongside a two-light wooden casement on the right-hand side. The northern continuation of the west wall has a later lean-to range on the east side.
