Description
The garden walling on the east side of The Cedars Park dates from the 16th and early 17th centuries and is constructed of red brick. It consists of several sections that form a long rectangle with a narrow projecting northwest end. This wall likely served as the former kitchen garden wall of Theobalds Palace. The northwest rectangular section features modern gates leading to the road and has buttressing on its west side. The eastern section of the wall stops at the rear of 65 Dudley Avenue. There is also a separate southern section that is approximately 50 meters long and has a stepped profile. The straight western side is divided into three sections.
