Description

28 and 30 Park Lane are a pair of houses dating from the early to mid-19th century, situated back to back with a narrow two-window frontage to the street in Waltham Cross. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick with gauged yellow brick lintels and have a slate roof. They are two storeys high with attics. The windows are sash windows. The street elevation features ground-floor round-headed windows and a parapet that curves up to the higher centre. The eastern side, with three windows, has a round-arched front door with a vertical mullioned fanlight, plain side pilasters, and a round-headed sash window on the first floor. A continuous central chimney stack is a prominent feature.
