Description

Cheshunt Cottages East and West are late 17th century or early 18th century buildings that were refaced in stucco in a Tudor Gothic style around 1840. They are two storeys tall and feature a slate roof. The cottages have projecting gable ends, with the west side displaying a lower, advanced gable end. Each cottage has gabled porches and ornate cusped bargeboards. On the first floor, there are four sash windows with grip moulds, and the ground floor has casement windows, all framed by chamfered arched door surrounds.
