Description

The outbuilding at Number 172, known as Yew Tree Cottage, is a Grade II listed structure located immediately behind the house on High Road in Broxbourne. This building, likely a former bakehouse, dates back to the 18th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and is weatherboarded, while the west gable end is constructed of red and yellow stock brick. The roof is covered with terracotta tiles, and there is a chimney on the east side. This outbuilding is included in the listing for its group value with the main house.
