Description

No. 115 High Road in Broxbourne is a building dating from around 1840, which incorporates an earlier timber frame and was altered in the late 19th century. It features painted stucco and a slate roof, with yellow brick on the rear north side. The structure is two storeys high and has four windows. The entrance includes a half-glazed door with latticework and a porch with a zinc roof. The first floor has 8/8-pane sash windows, while the ground floor features a late 19th-century canted bay window. An ornamental bargeboard decorates the north gable, and the rear south side retains its timber frame. This building is continuous with No. 117 and is included for its group value.
