Description

No. 117 High Road in Broxbourne is a building dating from around 1840, which incorporates some earlier timber framing. It features painted stucco and a low slate roof. The front of the building is symmetrical with three windows and has a half-glazed door with lattice-work, set beneath a porch with a zinc roof. This door is flanked by sash windows that have consoles and cornices. On the first floor, there are 8/8-pane sash windows. The rear north side has a lath and plaster wall.
