Description
The Galley Hall Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered and extended in the 19th century. It features painted plaster and an old tile roof, with a height of one and a half to two and a half storeys. The taller west block has a gable end with a moulded bargeboard and sash windows in architraves on the second and attic floors. The lower east block, which was formerly three early 19th-century cottages, has modern canted bay windows across the ground floor. There are two early to mid-19th-century door hoods supported by scrolled brackets. Inside, there is a chamfered floor beam on the west side.
