Description

Rose Cottage is an early to mid-19th century building located on the west side of Spring Lane in Hoddesdon. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof. The cottage is two storeys high with a symmetrical west-facing front. It has 8/8-pane sash windows on the sides and a 6/6-pane sash window in the center. The ground floor windows have segmental heads, while the upper floor windows are linked to the plain eaves. The building also has corbelled chimney stacks and a modern door with a consoled hood. Rose Cottage is included in the listing for its group value.
