Description
Hoddesdon Plant Hire Limited is an early 19th-century building featuring weatherboarding and a gable end facing the road. It has a pantile roof and stands two storeys tall. The first floor includes pointed twin casements with 'Gothic' glazing bars. The two-window elevation on the road displays ornamental, pierced bargeboarding and has a blocked opening next to the eastern window. On the eastern elevation, there is a first-floor sack-hoist door and a long stair window towards the south. The upper floor interior reveals an open-truss roof with eight bays. The ground floor has been modernized for use as a shop. This building was formerly a chapel.
