Description

No. 117 on Crossbrook Street is a 16th-century timber-framed building that features early 19th-century details. The ground floor is covered in painted stucco, while the upper floor has a roughcast finish. It has a modern terracotta tile roof and a floor-band. On the first floor, there are two segmental-headed 8/8-pane sash windows with flush architrave surrounds. The central entrance is a half-glazed door flanked by reeded colonnettes, with grooved brackets and a simple hood above. On the south side, there is a bowed 28-pane shop window with a reeded surround, and on the north side, there is a reeded bowed cornice over a later window.
