Description

1-4 Bakery Court is a terrace of early to mid-19th century houses located on the west side of Silver Street in Stansted Mountfitchet. The houses are rendered and treated as ashlar. They are two storeys high with a seven-window frontage. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, though one window on the first storey has been blocked. A 20th-century shop addition projects from the south end, and a carriage entrance is located at the north end. The roofs are slate covered.
