Description
North End Terrace is an early 19th-century formal terrace located on the west side of Leysbourne. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a cornice and parapet, with the roof not visible from the street. The terrace consists of three storeys and has two windows on each floor, with 16-pane sash windows in architrave surrounds on the lower floors and 8-pane windows on the top floor. The paired doorways lead to six-panel doors with fanlights, surrounded by panelled reveals, three-quarter Doric columns, and broken pediments. Ashlar stacks are present as well. Notably, this grand terrace front was built over older houses, with traces of those earlier structures still visible from the rear.
