Description

The Barley Mow is a former public house dating from around 1700. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a band course above the ground floor windows and doors, topped with a Cotswold stone roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two windows and two plain doors on the ground floor, and three windows on the first floor, all of which are three-light stone mullioned headed casements. The roof is steeply pitched and includes two gabled dormers, along with two tall ashlar stacks that have moulded caps, one located on the gable end and the other on the rear slope.
