Description

The Old King's Head is a former inn located on Dewes Green Road in Berden. This building dates back to the 17th century and features a timber-framed and plastered structure arranged in an L-shaped plan. It has been renovated in the 20th century. The building stands two storeys high and has 20th-century casement windows with lattice leaded lights. The upper storey jetties out at the south end, and there is a later addition that extends to the west. The roof is thatched and hipped at both the north and south ends, with a central square chimney stack.
