Description
The Post Office and Store in Berden is a timber-framed and plastered building that features 18th-century external characteristics but is believed to have been constructed on the 17th-century brick foundations of an earlier house known as the Old Vicarage. The building has two storeys and cellars. The east front has three windows, while the north front has two windows, primarily consisting of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The north front also includes a double bowed shop front with glazing bars and a central doorway. The roof is hipped and tiled.
