Description

Martin's Green is a former farmhouse, dating from the mid-16th century. It is a two-storey house constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. The upper storey juts out over the front, supported by four curved brackets. The windows are casement style. The roof is tiled and hipped at both the east and west ends, featuring a central chimney stack with rectangular shafts. Additionally, there is a large external chimney at the east end, which has two offsets and two rebuilt octagonal shafts. At the rear of the house, there is a projecting gabled wing.
