Description

The Green Man is a former inn located in Arkesden, dating from the 16th to 17th century. This timber-framed and plastered building has undergone alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries, including the addition of a wing at the north-east end. It stands two storeys high and features a mix of casement windows and double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and includes an original central chimney stack with three square shafts on a rectangular base. The north-east wing has a slate roof.
