Description

This is a 17th-18th century timber-framed and plastered cottage located in Arkesden. The date 1699 is scratched into the plaster of the dormer gable on the front. The cottage is one storey high with attics. It features casement windows with leaded lights, although a modern bay window has been added to the ground storey. A modern doorway is present, topped with a pedimented hood. The roof is tiled and half-hipped, and includes a gabled dormer and a central chimney stack.
