Description

Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located in Aythorpe Roding. It features a timber-framed structure with weatherboarded gable walls and plastered sides, topped with a thatched roof. The cottage has three bays and a lobby entrance, with a T-plan stair located behind the stack. There is a 19th-century lean-to at the rear. The building is single storey with attics, and it has a gabled dormer at the front of the west bay. The framing is exposed internally in the lower east room and both upper rooms.
